The innovative Foldable Flattenable Tube™ (FFT) enables very lightweight booms and antennas that deploy passively and package in very small volumes. Our extensive experience in high strain composites makes this patented design a reality. An initial application of this technology provides antenna elements 20 meters long that package into a volume of 0.02 cubic meter and weigh less than 1 kilogram.
