Our Diversity Networking Groups allow employees from similar backgrounds and interests to come together to exchange information, share experiences and support community partnerships to give our employees a better understanding of the multicultural world in which we live. The network groups also support Northrop Grumman Space Technology’s business objectives by identifying professionals with exceptional intellect, capability and creativity.

CONNECT (Community of NGST New Employees Coming Together) provides professional and social network opportunities for new employees and others. Activities include guest speakers, tours of facilities, and social/cultural events. All new hires are invited to participate in CONNECT to ease the transition to the Space Technology environment.

Adelante provides a network for Latino/Hispanic employees who support Hispanic culture within Space Technology and the community through involvement with local schools, mentoring in the community and promoting Space Technology as a preferred employer.

The African American Task Group acts as a resource to senior management on African-American employee issues and in support of strategic business initiatives where their associations enhance Northrop Grumman Space Technology’s competitive advantage. The group initiates programs and activities to ensure that Space Technology is viewed as a preferred employer within the community.

The Asian Pacific Professional Network encourages leadership development to benefit Space Technology Asian Pacific employees and promotes future business opportunities through community networking and mentoring programs.

The Committee for Disability Awareness works to create an environment that promotes equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The committee supports disability awareness training, serves as a resource to management for disability concerns, and networks with college and university groups to promote Northrop Grumman Space Technology as an employer of choice for disabled persons.

The Gays, Lesbians and Friends Network provides assistance for employees who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual through promotion of an environment of inclusion and by serving as a resource for education and information to dispel negative messages and demeaning stereotypes. The group also networks with the community and universities in the search for qualified additions to the Northrop Grumman Space Technology technical staff.

The Native American Caucus mobilizes the talents and resources of Native Americans others who have an interest in Native American history, culture and spirituality. They support Native American communities and educational institutions (from pre-school through college) through participation in speaker forums, acting as mentors, and providing overall assistance in building self-esteem and image.

The Veterans' Actions Committee provides Northrop Grumman Space Technology employees and the local community with awareness and advice on the issues affecting veterans and their families.

The Women's Network Group fosters a work environment for increasing women’s leadership opportunities; professional development; mentoring future women leaders; and recruitment for critical technical and management positions in support of Northrop Grumman Space Technology’s business objectives.
