Aura Completes Acoustic Tests

Northrop Grumman Corporation's Space Technology sector is the prime contractor responsible for the design and development of Aura, the third in NASA's series of Earth Observing System satellites. Aura is shown here on an in-plant transporter following the completion of acoustic testing, one of several environmental tests performed prior to launch. Aura's mission is to study the Earth's ozone, air quality and climate.
