Northrop Grumman Begins Testing Advanced EHF Nulling Antenna

Engineers prepare an engineering model for testing of the nulling antenna for the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (EHF) military satellite communications system. The antenna is the first to be tested at a new compact test range built by Northrop Grumman’s Space Technology sector, headquartered in Redondo Beach, Calif. Nulling antennas are designed to defeat enemy jammers, thereby preventing service interruption to military users.
